Overview

The Meals module is your nursery food catalog. Define each dish with ingredients, allergen tags, meal type (breakfast, lunch, snack), and optional photos — then reuse entries across weekly meal plans and daily reports.

Key capabilities

• Build a searchable catalog with grid and table views
• List ingredients with quantities and units (g, ml, cups, pieces)
• Tag allergens — milk, eggs, nuts — visible to nurses and teachers
• Attach meal photos for kitchen and parent communication
• Filter by meal type; see which scheduled plans use each dish

How it works in Larvera

Kitchen staff add dishes to the catalog with allergens flagged, planners assign them in Meal Plans, teachers log what each child ate in Daily Reports — allergy alerts surface automatically.
